The other shot of Ming taking photos. I noticed this shot is slighted tilted to the right, would have been better straight. Photography enthusiasts do all sort of things to get a shot right and laying down on the ground like this is a trivial thing to do in their books!

Taking Photo Taking

I was out with Lyn and her son, Ming in Putrajaya for some photo taking a few days ago. In this pic, Ming sat right in the middle (definitely a no-no in the streets of Kuala Lumpur but somewhat okay here) of the road to take a pic. I was behind him and decided to take this pic of him. Our photoshoot ended early as it started raining not long after those dark skies appeared.

Optical Illusion

This is the corridor on one of KL Hilton floors. I never noticed till then that hotel corridors have some sort of an optical illusion!

Chillin' Over The Holidays

The long holidays gave us a chance to slow down and get some rest & relaxation. Taken at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, Lobby Lounge which is one of my fave place to unwind. The URB band playing here for the next 6 months is really good too.

Candlelight Two

Was going through my album and came across this photo that was taken during the Mid Autumn Festival party at Czar's place. I had earlier posted another pic from that party under "Candlelight". In this shot, there's three kids now and they looked cute, enjoying themselves with the candles.

Cooking Three

This was taken at Taman Connaught's pasar malam (night market) where this Char Kway Teow stall is one of the reported 700 plus stalls opened for business there every Wednesday. This area is supposedly the largest pasar malam in Malaysia.

Came across this stall in Jalan Ipoh. The smell coming from this stall was wonderful and the operators were busy with the many customers waiting....Satay, one of my many fave food! Not a fine dining restaurant but roadside stall, where food simply tastes better!

Had taken this shot a while back during one of my Korean dinners. This one was in Korea House in Desa Sri Hartamas. I was sitting on the floor and took this shot from my level as one of the waiter bent down to cook the Bulgogi we ordered.

Mini Maze

With the Hari Raya and Deepavali celebrations around the corner, another round of festivity shopping is on. I took this shot at Subang Parade, Malaysia and thought the shoppers here look like they were in a mini maze of clothing!

Pillars

Part of the pillars of Gyeongbok (Shining Happiness) Palace, Seoul, Korea. I bet this must be a favourite place for many people to take a pic. I'm glad I'm one of the many.

Went to Czar's place and had a feast! Anyway, the kids ended up playing with candles (in replacement of lanterns since it was Mid Autumn Festival). Mmm....I wonder if all the candles and lanterns around Malaysia contributed to the haze?. I took several shots of them playing. This is one of the nicer ones.

With the recent haze, it was a pleasant surprise to have a day of blue skies yesterday. The sun was out and I could see the clouds against the blue sky. Alas, it was only a short reprieve. The haze is back again today.

Different

Here's a candid shot of some Korean folklore performers and audience a few minutes before the show started. I like how at ease the performers seem to be and how everyone in the picture is doing different things. The male performer is looking over the shoulder of the lady who is busy looking at her camera. The female performer in turn is looking at them amusingly. The mother seated on the pavement is busy eating and how the little girl seems to be wondering if she really does look good in pink! Ha ha ha.....

Suwon World Cup Stadium

The 2006 World Cup has come and gone but such football fever will forever linger in the hearts of die hard fans (in remission till the next 2010 World Cup in South Africa!). The Koreans are very proud of their Suwon World Cup Stadium, one of the venues during 2002's World Cup. This stadium can seat a whopping 43,288 spectators! I love the sea of coloured seats here!
