Having Fun!
I like this shot as it goes to show that even if we aren't kids anymore, we can still very much act like one and enjoy the moment....whenever, whatever! This is a different version of our regular see-saw (an amateur version of the circus act?) and it's lots of fun as you can tell from the man's face. Even the lady in the background was amused!

Protectors
One of the many "protectors" watching over Gyeongbok Palace, Seoul. The Asian version of gargoyles, I think. Pretty scary looking (this is one of the less scary ones) because it takes a devil to catch a devil, as some people would say.

Freedom Is Not Free
Monument In Rememberance Of The Korean War. "Freedom Is Not Free" - words written on the stone tablet. That's a staff going through his rounds.

Seoul Reflections
This was taken in front of a retail store in Itaewon. The reflective ball is so shiny, almost completely free from handprints. When I saw it and the reflection, I just had to stop and take a photo of it. It also had all these equations, giving us the answers on life and really something to reflect on?

Big & Small
This was taken at the Malacca Zoo. I like this shot as it shows how tiny the kid is compared to the animal. The kid was in awe, marvelling at the size of it. Anyone can tell me which species this cow/bull/cattle is? I forgot.
I will be away in Korea till Tuesday, so no postings till then. Looking forward to taking photocs in Korea. Take care everyone...see you all soon.

Glass Bowl
This was "just" a glassbowl at my friend's house. She uses it as a "rubbish" bowl. I saw the colours and decided to take some pictures of it to see how it would look. When my friend saw the photos, she was surprised at the beauty of it. It's funny how we take certain things around us for granted. Take a long hard look at them...we'll probably find the beauty in them.

Trishaw
Typical tourist trishaw in Malacca - adorned with lots of plastic flowers! What a riot of colours! Enough colours to make even a blind man confused! Almost all trishaws are decked with such colours here. Trishaws are a dying breed, available only in smaller towns or as a novelty in the States, also as a tourist attraction. I suppose existing trishaw peddlers have to resort to this in order to survive as most locals do not travel this way anymore with the ever increasing automobile traffic on the road.

Tubes
At a playground - these are telephone tubes. Here kids (and those young at heart!) play a game of finding the right ends according to the colours and learn about how sound travels too! Sometimes, messages get to us just like these tubes. Twisted, turned and made colourful. Ha ha ha...I tested out the tubes, it works, and it works so incredibly well that I could even hear my friend's breathing! If only communication in reality work this well too (or shouldn't it???).
Taken with my friend's Olympus camera.

Arrangement
Lounge in Stamford Hotel, Singapore. This shot is pretty normal, but I like this photo because of the way the table looks at the bottom part of the shot. Small in comparison and centrally aligned to the bigger centrepiece. The red glasses, napkins and chairs are almost perfectly arranged and evenly spaced out!
